The Fullerton Hotel Sydney

The hotel itself was fantastic and generally staff and service accommodating. We were however very disappointed with the breakfast service and then how this feedback was received. No one explained the option available (a la carte or buffet) meaning we missed out on this option, the hot drinks service was incredibly slow, when ordering a second coffee this was then (despite the restaurant being very quiet) lost in the system. It was not up to the standard expected for the hotel and certainly not the price point given the choice of breakfast places available outside the hotel. At checkout before we were even able to provide the feedback (which otherwise was very positive) a trip advisor card was thrust upon us with no option to provide this direct. It’s a shame that the service and ability to feedback has let our perception of the hotel down.

We certainly had a memorable and meaningful stay at The Fullerton Sydney. This was our first visit to Australia during a special occasion as we celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary. Room was spacious and very clean and the Buffet breakfast at The Place excellent. Non feather pillows were supplied as requested as we have allergies to feathers. As my wife is coeliac, gluten free options were available as was The Place staff. Breakfast was prepared individually for her. The check-out system was also very easy at about 11am with other guests checking in.

The hotel has it all. It is clean, comfortable, friendly service, best location, it was just fantastic! The dining was delicious, the gym had modern equipment. Welcoming staff that upgraded our room to a higher floor. Centrally located to everything.

We had a very beautiful stay at this hotel. The staff were professional, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room was peaceful and quiet — we couldn’t hear any outside noise at all, which made for a restful night. The location is perfect, close to all city amenities, and the hotel itself had a lovely, subtle scent throughout — not overpowering, just pleasant. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay here again.
