The Fullerton Hotel Sydney

Noisy - the doors of other guest open and close incredibly loudly. This might be a level 1 issue - but if that's the case don't put people on those floors. Was constantly woken all night with heavy doors slamming down the corridor. Not a cheap hotel, I expected better.

First room allocated was not fully re-supplied and TV could not face bed and almost fell off the wall. The air conditioning very loud. The second room was improved but supplies in room minimal ie 2 coffee sachets, minimal tea, no mugs and two teaspoons only. Request for plates refused. No service to room on 3rd day and the bill at the end was not really understandable with highly variable rates for the room each day. Air conditioning still quite noisy and needed to turn it off to get to sleep. Staff were friendly and helpful - in particular Peter the door man was knowledgeable and extremely pleasant to chat with.

Extremely nice rooms in awesome location close to light rail and within walking distance to the opera house if you feel like a stroll.Its the third time we have stayed here and would definitely stay here again when next in Sydney. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

The room was very large and extremely well appointed. The bedding and seating etc. were all luxury appointments. the The wardrobe was very bid and well appointed. The lights were a challenge with more than one master switch. Bar drinks and food service was erratic.
