Stayed for 2 nights. Opted for the Harbour Bridge view and it did not disappoint. Staff were super friendly. Room seemed to be a refurbished room so was fresh and modern with comfortable beds and lots of space. Upmarket bathroom with separate large shower. A nice touch was fresh milk in the fridge for tea and coffee. Lobby area and bar were impressive and they had an Easter Egg hunt for the kids which was a nice touch. Indoor pool on the top floor was great with outstanding views of the harbour. Good sized gym with a mixture of free weights, cardio and resistance machines although these were mainly upper body focused. Did not eat in the hotel, would probably opt for a room with breakfast or better still club access if we stayed again, although neither seemed to be an option for a room that accommodated 4 people when we booked. It was one of the pricier hotels on our stay but location, service and room quality made it worth it. We had breakfast at the Rocks Café (10 min walk) which was good quality and reasonably priced and had dinners at the Endeavour Tap Rooms (10 min walk) – large choice of beers and standard pub type fare but nothing special and the Spice Room (5 min walk) – great flavours and good choice but quite expensive for an Indian meal.

We soent 4 days pre-cruise at the Intercontinental and we loved it. We had lounge access and the hostess was so welcoming and attentive. The breakfast offerings were excellent and included made to order items as well as fruits, pastries and other typical continental breakfast items. The evening cocktail hour was pleasant but the food offerings were not as nice. The view from the lounge of the Opera house and bridge were classic Sydney. The room was spacious and comfortable and service was good.

A perfect getaway with a great location and friendly staff. Just around the corner from Circular Quay. Breakfast provided a great variety. Beds and pillows were ideal. Anzac biscuits were provided as a gift to top off the stay (Anzac day long weekend). Will stay there again.

Wonderful luxury hotel. Maybe the best one I’ve ever been and I’m genuinely looking forward to be here again someday. First of all, the architecture itself is historic and beautiful with tons of Georgian features. The elevator in the lobby is so classic and elegant, you can’t miss it once you walked in. The deco of the restaurant at the second floor is so elegant and peaceful, you get to fully enjoy the meal when you’re sitting there no matter it’s a balcony seat or indoor seat. Secondly, the room is great. We luckily have a sight of the opera house and a great view of the botanical garden. The room itself is newly renovated and spacious. And everything in it is fresh and clean. By the way, I truly love the deco style which is simple but full of charm. It’s noticeable that the view at the pool is wonderful, you get to see the opera house from a perfect angle. Thirdly, regarding the service, it’s great as well which match its five-star standard. The room service is careful and very professional. Housekeeping is at another level. In summary, if you’re on a vacation with someone you truly love, come here and have romantic nights. It’s a great hotel.

We have just had the best time in Sydney staying at your excellent hotel. The staff were amazing at all venues, especially the front desk, which was so accommodating, helpful, and genuinely happy. The views from Aster were so perfect. The view from our room, with the sunrise over the harbour, was simply amazing. Thank you all so much.
