The Leela Kovalam, A Raviz Hotel

Special appreciation to butler Ms Bismi gopal. She taken care of us very well. I am assistant of Mr Ashutosh Rana. Sir specially informed me to share a feedback for Ms Bismi for her good work. Wishing all the best for her future and the property is also good. Situated in a breathtaking location. Staffs are really nice here. Whenever they see they all have a smile on their face. Hope the hospitality will continue the same in Leela. Wishing good look for Ms Bismi in future.

Never knew India had such a beautiful location & property. On top of that their service is incredibly fantastic. We organised our business offsite there- Jitin ji and Subash provided us excellent support, did everything we required for a smooth and great event. They went out of their ways to make our events successful & memorable. Aditya was super helpful throughout and provided exceptional service for us. The team ensured to give us the best experience and we’re very thankful to them for such inspiring work they do with the level of dedication and passion.

I stayed here for a night with family. The stay was absolutely amazing. There is so much to explore within the hotel. The sunset point within the hotel is a must visit. The staff took great care of us, especially Jithin, Biju, Hema to name a few.

The property offers a breathtaking view, an atmosphere of peace and calm, and truly commendable hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate every request, and their warmth made the stay all the more special. A special mention to Suneeta, Jaishankar, Kannan, Neetha, Jamshad, Megha, Ajit, Suriya, and Reshma from housekeeping and service teams — each of them provided outstanding support throughout our stay. The Sky Bar deserves a highlight — it offers stunning scenic views and is the perfect spot to unwind with a few drinks in a serene setting. The rooms themselves are beautifully done, and I highly recommend opting for those within the main property rather than the sea beach villas, which are more isolated and located at a distance. That said, there are a few areas that need attention: • High Tea: The experience was underwhelming, with very limited options — mainly fried items and basic tea cakes — and service that was noticeably lacking. • Room Linen: The red bed runners appeared stained, worn out, and far below the quality one would expect from a luxury property like The Leela. They detracted significantly from the room’s otherwise excellent presentation. • Tides Restaurant: Despite heavy rainfall during our stay, the restaurant did not have umbrellas readily available. Staff seemed unprepared and unaware when asked about basic guest support during the rain, which was disappointing and not in line with the otherwise high standards of the property. Overall, while the experience was largely positive thanks to the incredible staff and beautiful surroundings, a few improvements could elevate the experience to match the premium expectations associated with the Leela brand.
