I had a wonderful stay at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo. The hotel is elegant and situated in a very convenient location—perfect for an evening walk around the area, which felt both safe and enjoyable. The staff throughout the hotel were exceptionally kind and professional, making my stay smooth and welcoming. Breakfast offerings were varied and high in quality, a perfect start to each day. I especially want to recognize the outstanding service at the lounge. The team there consistently went above and beyond, but I would particularly like to commend Ms. Mimuri. She was thorough, attentive, and genuinely kind. Her warm hospitality left a lasting impression on me. I truly appreciate the level of care and attention provided during my stay, and yes—I will definitely be returning. Thank you again to the entire team for such a memorable experience

We (my wife and I) arrived early for our room so decided to park our luggage and explore the facilities of the Grand Hyatt Tokyo - what a great idea. We quickly found the Oak Door Bar and HUSEYIN MAGDEN (spelling hopefully correct) who obviously supervises an incredible Bar Team with their military precision and flair in preparing cocktails. It's a Show in itself. Huseyin introduced us to some of the Management Team (SAMUEL GARCIA and TAKAHIRO KONNO) and you quickly see the secret to the Bar's success - TEAM. Many Thanks (from Mr. Rusty Nail). Huseyin also introduced us to the Oak Door Dinner. Honestly Overwhelming food . . and Staks (with meat from around the world) are Spectacular. The knife glides through the steak and the tastes melt in your mouth. This Dinner is now on my very short list og Favorites across many Countries. One last Staff Member I'd like to highlight is MIKI YOSHIKAWA from Concierge. My wife and I spent hours searching for gifts for family and friends and on 1 specific occasion just couldn't find the (Cheery Blossom) gift we were looking for. Miki spent some time with us and searched out not only the perfect answer but at a reasonable price and well within walking distance from the Grand Hyatt Hotel. What a difference local knowledge makes! We were / are extremely grateful for Miki's dedication. I can't close this review without highlighting the obvious - the Facilities at the Grand Hyatt Hotel are simply second to none. Amazing - clean, current, maintained, quality, quantity . . everything you need.

The Grand Hyatt in Roppongi truly lives up to its 5-star reputation. From the moment we arrived, the service, ambiance, and attention to detail were outstanding. The hotel itself is beautifully designed—modern, elegant, and everything you’d expect from a luxury experience in Tokyo. Our stay was comfortable and memorable, with spacious rooms, high-end amenities, and excellent dining options. It’s a great choice if you're looking for a premium experience in a more upscale, vibrant part of the city. That said, being in Roppongi has its trade-offs. While it’s a lively area with great nightlife and restaurants, it's not the most convenient base for getting around Tokyo’s major sights. And unlike other neighborhoods, quick trips to a konbini (convenience store) aren’t quite as easy or close by. Overall, it was a wonderful stay—we’d recommend it if you're looking to enjoy Tokyo in style and don’t mind trading a bit of convenience for luxury.

During our recent Japan trip we stayed three nights in Grand Hyatt Hotel Tokyo located near by the Roppongi Hills Metro Station. It was at the end of our two weeks holiday, travelling as a family with one child across the country. The hospitality, service of the hotel staff over exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the room on the 15th floor with the stunning view on Fuji Mountain. The room was reasonably spacious and had enough storage space for clothes for all of us. Opening hours in spa and pool allowed swimming from 7am what was very convenient before starting a day with a breakfast and also late evening swimming after returning to the hotel from sightseeing or dinner. Concierge was extremely helpful making us aware of the option to purchase tickets only for one act of the Kabuki Theater performance, which is normally too long if you want to experience it in the full length. We also very much enjoyed the dining in The French Kitchen and The Oak Door restaurants. We definitely recommend this hotel for tourist visiting Tokyo.

This is an excellent hotel in a great location- Roppongi. The staff was outstanding. Our room and bedding were very comfortable. I wish the lap pool was deeper and larger- only a few lanes. Swim caps are required. The large jacuzzi by the pool was treacherous getting in and out for older people- slippery and no handrails. Restaurants within the hotel: French Kitchen buffet was excellent with a huge selection of Japanese and Western items. Lunch at the French Kitchen was just OK. Likewise, lunch at Fiorentina was just OK. The adjacent food gift shop was very nice. China Room was awful and we can see why it was almost empty. Oak Door was absolutely outstanding- the best steak house we've ever been to. My husband got the roast chicken and I had the Maine lobster- both divine. Gorgeous decor and great service. Down the hill a short walk was an excellent casual Italian restaurant (Salvatore Cuomo). Adjacent to the restaurant is a wonderful little boutique food shop with prepared and packaged food and snacks. It's called the Grand Food Hall I think. I got some wonderful brown rice with barley crackers there and ginger cookies from Kochi. You can't go wrong with the Grand Hyatt Tokyo.
