About the Hotel
Floating gondolas, the chime of ancient church bells, and romantic piazzas make Venice such a treasured Italian destination. Splendid Venice, part of Preferred Hotels & Resorts and a member of the Preferred Hotel Group, was built during the 16th century. Splendid Venice muy buen hotel en el corazón de la ciudad
Es un hotel muy céntrico y en un entorno muy agradable. Estuvimos en una suite Heritage, y es espectacular. Tiene un recibidor, sala y recámara, cada una con ventanas que dan a un canal. Las cortinas y ventanas se pueden cerrar por completo, por si se desea no pase la luz del sol por la mañana. Ignoro cómo son las otras habitaciones. El desayuno está bien, aunque no es espectacular; sin embargo, además de fruta, quesos, carnes frías, salmón ahumado y diversos panes, se pueden pedir a la carta huevos fritos, pancakes o waffles, que están muy bien. EL hotel está cerca de todo: puente Rialto, Plaza de San Marcos, restaurantes y tiendas. Muy recomendable.

Valgte værelse med “kanaludsigt” til ca 4500,- pr nat og fik stue værelse med virkelig meget støj , okay men middel morgenmad , god beliggenhed, fint værelse, men med råben både udenfor og af personale på gangen Er ikke sikker på at vi vil vælge dette hotel igen, for dyrt til standarden

Nice Hotel
Nice hotel and very central and accessible. In separate reception area one section of curtain was sitting on floor to left of reception and filthy dirty not a good first impression. The hotel itself was nice. Room on was nice, had sign of wear and tear, bathroom door damaged. Bar, dining and sitting areas were tastefully decorated and comfortable seating. Safe were excellent.

Hotel ottimo sotto ogni aspetto
Dopo diversi ottimi soggiorni allo Star Hotel Savoia di Trieste, ho deciso di provare anche lo Star Hotel Splendid di Venezia. Location perfetta, esattamente a metà strada fra Rialto e San Marco. Camere eleganti, dotazioni soddisfacenti, condizionamento impeccabile, isolamento acustico perfetto. Rilevo solo qualche piccolo problema di manutenzione (maniglia della porta del bagno e telefono della doccia). Parti comuni davvero splendide, dalle sale ristorante al bar, arredato con gusto davvero intimo e raffinato. Cena alquanto cara, pur con i parametri di Venezia. Con un vino standard non bastano 100€ a testa per una proposta culinaria decisamente gradevole ma migliorabile in più di un dettaglio. Perfetta sotto ogni aspetto la colazione, nonostante la sala infestata da torme di bimbi. Certamente meritate - comunque - le cinque stelle, con una nota di apprezzamento particolare per la simpatia del personale tutto, specialmente quello di bar e sala.

Very good!
Well located hotel recommended to me. Service was very good, very nice room (suite); some decor / maintenance issues require attention. Complementary Prosecco, Chianti and water. Turn down service. Staff are helpful. Good selection of in room toiletries. No cheap but you get what you pay for!
