Hotel Sacher Vienna is one of the world’s great luxury hotels in one of Europe’s most culturally significant cities: the birthplace of psychoanalysis and a city of musicians, artists, philosophers and architects. Our famous guests have included John F. Kennedy, Indira Gandhi and Queen Elizabeth. We are proud of our history and our location, and true to our traditions.

When going to Vienna I chose the Sans Souci Wein over Sacher Wein and I am glad I did. It sounds petty but on entry (and exit) I was obstructed then questioned rather than greeted, were curt when I attempted to reserve a table in the bar and claimed not to know where the Ritz Charlton was. Magnificent stay at Sans Souci and great service at the Ritz.

Came here just for the cake when we had some free time from a tour. No reservations. Only waited about 5-10 minutes for a table. It was worth it. Beautiful restaurant. Sacher cake was quite good (the original). Completely worth the calories.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Sacher. Beautiful hotel, fantastic location, and great service. The historic center and many other sights are just a few minutes walk away. Rooms are extremely comfortable with great beds, breakfast has everything you could want, and the Blue Bar is a great place to have a drink. Thanks to Andreas and his entire team, especially the breakfast staff and the bar staff!

we always wanted to go the Hotel Sacher and we were not disappointed. Excellent location in the midst of everything , elegant rooms and impeccable customer service the Hotel Sacher is one of a kind. The pastries of course out of this world but the restaurants are great as well. Book early as they fill up quickly sometimes from people from the opera across the road as well. There is a lovely spa and we much enjoyed looking at the the pictures of the famous people who stayed there before, Vienna is worth visting for its history anyway and The HOtel Sacher is a big part of going there
