This is the definition of a 5 star hotel. This was by far the nicest and friendliest hotel we have ever stayed in. Starting with the valet and door men to Shannon at the front desk that did so much to make our stay extraordinary. The Concierge, Paul suggested and then booked the tours we took. All 5 stars. Our guest room was superb from the fine linen bedding to luxurious turn down service, We slept very well in the quiet well appointed hotel room. The food was delicious and we dined in the Greenhouse's for breakfast with Gilberto, it was quick and very well done. We ate at the Quill each evening which was a fun and bustling vibe but intimate enough to have a conversation. The wait staff (Katie) was very friendly and accommodating. This was such a special hotel to come home to after a busy day sight seeing in DC. Well done. We will be back.

This is my new favorite hotel in D.C.! I visited with my son for an advocacy event at Capitol Hill. Although we usually stay in Georgetown for our D.C. visits, I wanted to try something new, and I'm so glad we did. Everything was perfect. Kader welcomed us after our long drive and is one of the friendliest and most kind people we have met. Check-in was seamless, and the food and beverage service was perfect--I wish I could remember the name of the individual who served us dinner and breakfast to thank him. The food was delicious, the room was large, and the beds were extremely comfortable. I miss it already. We couldn't have asked for a better trip and can't wait to return to the Jefferson.

Can’t say enough good things about this hotel. It’s beautiful and the rooms were spacious and lovely. Service was excellent. Food was great and so were the drinks. Location was convenient. Booked through Amex, so I got a lot of little extras. I’d definitely come back!

I was in town visiting family and decided to stay at this hotel, and wow, I was blown away. It has such a classic, charming vibe, but feels cozy and intimate—like a little gem in the middle of the city. The service was amazing; the staff went above and beyond, always making sure I had everything I needed without being intrusive. My room was beautiful, with great attention to every detail—soft linens, elegant décor, and even a sweet chocolates at turndown. I felt so well taken care of, and the whole experience was just special. Definitely a place I’d return to next time I’m in DC!

We stayed at The Jefferson during peak bloom weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better staycation. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed, their warmth and attention to detail truly set the tone for our stay. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade, and our room was elegant, quiet, and incredibly comfortable. The location was ideal for visiting the Tidal Basin, yet the hotel felt like a calm retreat from the busy city. Cocktails at Quill and dinner in The Greenhouse were both standouts, with excellent service throughout. Even with DC at its busiest, The Jefferson offered a peaceful, luxurious escape. It was totally worth not fighting the traffic for the weekend. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
