Clean and modern hotel. Great location and excellent food. Service was great and the Surveyor restaurant and Rooftop bars were great. Appreciated the friendly service and good location. Took Uber to the monuments. Salt Line restaurant nearby was really good seafood

The Washington DC Thompson is in the perfect location for a stay in the US Capital. It’s located in the Navy Yards section of DC - on the water with access to great shops and restaurants - just 20 min away from Washington National airport. Within walking distance to the US Capitol building. The Thompson feels like a boutique hotel with gorgeous rooms, outstanding service and really delicious food. I went out of my way to stay at a Thompson, and I’m so glad I did! I can’t wait to return!

The Thompson Hotel is a fantastic establishment. The staff are top-notch, the amenities offered are head and shoulders above the competition, and the location is absolutely prime. You are in for a regal experience when you stay at the Thompson.

Research would have you think this is the second best Hyatt in DC, but it was disappointing for a Thompson Hotel Requested an extra pair of slippers on arrival and they just never came Rainy day and they’re out of umbrellas before 9 AM. Can’t charge a 30$ per day resort fee and run out of umbrellas No reasonably distanced parking options in the area which leaves you with 60$ per night valet If you’re going to go after every dollar, at least provide good service
