The Vendue

1-Lobby is full of Art. There is no check in desk. A hotel employee walks around with a laptop for check in and check out it was a very length process. 2- Were told monday at check in elevator was not working they were hoping it to be fixed in 24 hours. We checked out Friday and elevator never worked. Rooms on the 3rd floor not what we expected. 3-Rooftop Bar was great with good service and crowded with a lot of non hotel guests seemed to be a favorite spot 4- Revival restaraunt and Justin the manager were outstanding. 5- Bell and Valet guys/gals did a great job even carrying luggage up 3 flights of stairs 6- Hotel Mgmt did comp us a free meal to try and offset lack of a working elevator

The Vendue is a fun artsy hotel located in the French Quarter steps to the waterfront and just a few blocks from King Street. Walking distance to everything you want to do and see. Very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful with an accommodative attitude. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wonderful location, wonderful room, wonderful hotel. Neighborhood was terrific. Many great places to eat. Great sightseeing. Loved all the art at the hotel. Many galleries in the area. One project was to go to as many rooftop bars as possible. Didn't get it done but will try again.

Very whimsical hotel. Loved the curated art and daily talk about the assembled pieces. Especially liked the artist in residence and the space devoted to both he and his work. Staff very accommodating and helpful. The rooftop bar brought us back for several visits. Terrific location for this hotel.

The manager, Greg M., was incredible. We presented him with a logistical problem and he came up with a creative solution that worked. The lobby’s creative design includes great artwork. I will definitely stay here next time I am in Charleston!
